I finally finished putting up a photo set of New Zealand pictures! They are in chronological order, with descriptions. Stories to follow. Basically we went all over South Island (map), starting at Christchurch, and with a brief hop up to Wellington on the North Island.

Sorry not to update in a while... While many of you have been enjoying your tomatoes or getting ready for Truck Packing Day, we've been in Boulder taking aerials classes! The Aerial Dance Festival to be exact. For far better blogging see our new friend [livejournal.com profile] turgid's posts. I especially like his pain and damage ratings.

Just got a note from a friend of ours who used to be an assistant instructor, and camped with us at Burningman! He's in Montreal in a circus!

He says:
"It's so much more comfortable here than in New York. The people are more friendly, its a lot cheaper, beautiful, much more European and the circus is amazing. I train between 3-5 hours a day, five days a week and I just recently started with a new trainer who is amazing. People come from all over the world to work with him. Circus in general is huge here, and its such a higher caliber than anywhere in the US."

Here is text about the show from the web:

CIRCA ZERNA 2005:

Info: (514) 872-4498.

Back from BurningMan. Actually we got in very late last night, and spent today sleeping and doing laundry. For dinner I had non-playa foods: Shrimp, lobster, and fresh figs!!

It seems like we've been in a different country, gotten used to the different customs and foods, and now are having culture shock on reentry. Yow, it's weird here.

People liked my paintings with [livejournal.com profile] starphire's lights, they really livened up the Cube. Got to get to know some nice campmates better, met some new cool folks, and got disenchanted with one other. Was happy to have [livejournal.com profile] lyonesse and [livejournal.com profile] pheromone appear at random times to spend quality time with! Saw lots of cool art. Realized i can look good in booty shorts. Appreciated morning bacon and late-nite grilled cheese.
